Baked Brownie Recipe

Ingredients

1 2/3 cups granulated sugar

3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, melted

2 tablespoons water

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Cocoa

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Powdered sugar

Directions

1. Turn on the oven to 350 degrees

2. In a large bowl, mix the sugar, butter, and water. Mix well

3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract and continue to mix

4. Next combine together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, and nuts

5. Pour the baked brownie mixture into a casserole dish

6. Bake for 20-25 minutes
