Applesauce Brownie Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1/2 cup margarine

2 eggs

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

2 cups applesauce

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons white sugar

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

1. Turn on the oven to 350 degrees

2. In a bowl, add 1 1/2 cups of sugar, butter, eggs, cocoa, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, flour, and applesauce.

3. Pour applesauce mixture into a casserole dish

4. Add in sugar, chocolate chips and chopped nuts. Top brownie batter with mixture

5. Bake for 30 minutes
